Coats for Kids

From NEEF to our supporters

Our first goal was to provide winter clothing and footwear for 150 children at Ratna Pragatishil and Mahakulung Basic Schools. Near the end of the project, we learned that 35 preschool children had been left off the list. We could not leave them out.

Our donors helped us find the extra funding, and Dilip Singh Kulung negotiated locally to make it stretch. We provided 185 coats, shoes and socks. The clothing was made in Kathmandu and reached the children during Dashain. Thank you to everyone who helped us include those youngest students.

Education is Freedom.

Warm clothes, shoes and supplies give children a chance to stay in school. Thank you for helping us give them that chance.
